It was announced that Johnny’s Jr.’s Lewis Jesse will be starring in
the late-night drama “THE QUIZ” which will be aired on NTV. This will
mark the first drama for Lewis to take the lead role.
“THE QUIZ”
is based on Sugimoto Takashi’s novel, and the story revolves around 10
men and women who survived the preliminary round for a quiz show. Since
the winner is supposed to receive the prize money of 100 million yen,
those 10 participants get very excited. However, it all turns out to be a
cruel game in which the participants get killed with every question.
Lewis commented, “I want people to think ‘Oh he can play this kind of role too.’ I want everyone to watch it with excitement.”
Along
with Lewis, other Johnny’s Jr. members Hagiya Keigo and Iwamoto Hikaru
will also making appearance, and other cast members includes Yamamoto
Mitsuki and Yamashita Rio.
“THE QUIZ” will be aired on September 1st at 1:20 am on NTV.
